Job Description

 

Your Role & Team:

You & your team members will ensure the core of the CreditorWatch value – the credit score & credit report is delivered through reliable, secure and efficient technologies. Inspire your team to have maintainable & extensible code base, ensure technology best practices are followed.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
  • Set and enforce coding standards and best practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in PHP, React, staying updated on industry trends.
  • Design scalable and maintainable software architecture aligning with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and support to define system architecture and integration points and to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Champion continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the engineering team.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues and challenges.
  • Drive the resolution of critical production issues in a timely manner.
  • Lead by example and inspire the team to excel.

 

What you will bring:

  • Professional software development experience.
  • Software design and architecture experience.
  • Recent experience with PHP, Symfony, React.
  • AWS knowledge (docker, databases, storage, streams, etc)
  • A track record in delivering outcomes, not just as an individual, but rallying your team
  • Evangelising high technical standards in the teams
  • Security best practices champion
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical information for a diverse audience.
